They Only Had, At Most, 14 Days and a Wake Up. Now They Will Sleep For Eternity.
It is impossible to express my sadness for the loss of nine American Warrior Heroes on Sunday in Kunar Province, Afghanistan. Nine more Sky Angels joined the thirty three who have gone before them to heaven during this deployment.
May God give comfort to their families. May he wrap them all in his love and care. Rest in Peace men of 173rd, 2/503 Chosen Company, 2nd Platoon. Your lives and memories will forever be in our hearts and minds.

My heart is breaking also because I don't hear from our media about these great men.
Here is an article over at Dollards Website about the movement and possibly more of what we need to expect. But it is an AFP article and well we all know how slanted the AP is.
Waziri Warlord said 3 million tribesmen will fight NATO forces massing on Afghan border.
If reports of 40 scumbag Taliban were killed, then I know it was a lot more. I hope our guys (that includes our Afghan Army pals) pounded the snot out of those rat bastards!!!
Our nine new Sky Angels are in Heaven, the Taliban animals are in Hell with their 72 raisins.
My heart is really heavy for the loss of these Soldiers. Thank you for holding up their lives and their service in our memories. Thank you for sharing as much as you already have. I am going to keep the families of these men, those injured and their families, in my thoughts and prayers now. Added to the computer-side list.
Thank you for giving us their names.
Gotta echo what you said Gunnut, and we not PC around here anyway.
Our hearts are broken for the families of our heroes. They now ride on the wings of eagles, with our love and gratitude.

mrs97 and Melinda ~ I hope you and the Brostom, Rainey and other families know that you are not alone in your sorrow and grief. We may not have known these men prersonally but our hearts are heavy because of the loss of these great men - these true American Heroes. May they all rest in peace and may you, the families and friends, know that we will ALWAYS honor their lives and service.
