Please Pray For The Sky Soldiers

I'm sure anyone who reads this blog is aware that some of the 173rd ABCT are still in Kunar Province.  And I imagine you have heard about or read the news today.  The next few days are going to be incredibly difficult while their families and friends wait to find out who the American Heroes are and if they are part of the 173rd.  I'm asking all of you to pray harder than you ever have for the brave men who gave their all today.

My heart aches tonight for the families of whomever these Soldiers are a part of.  May God keep them all in his loving care.

I have no words today, I'm just incredibly sad. I'm praying for the families of the fallen and the wounded today. Godspeed Sky Soldiers. Hope you are holding up, LC.

HELP!! I am a Soldier's Angel who adopted a platoon in the 1/503rd, bought them all Bore Snakes, exchanged letters sent packages,etc. My entire family has become attached to these guys. We've not heard from them for weeks...if anyone has any info about 1st Platoon, Delta Company 1/503RD we would be so greatful. We all pray for our Brave soldiers every day. God Bless them one and all.

Jeff ~ I know some of the 1/503 have redeployed but I have no idea exactly which ones. All we can do right now is pray. Pray for the Sky Soldiers and pray for their families. There's been no solid indication of which unit or units may have been involved. I've been in touch with The Sky Soldiers and some one of the replacement units. No news yet who was involved in this. It is definitely a sad time for those of us who have been supporting our Soldiers in Afghanistan all feel this loss so deeply.

Thanks ...we've gotten emotionally attached to these guys, feel like my sons. Last year 1st SGT Mike Gabel was killed on patrol and that has only made our efforts to make sure these guys know how much they are loved by us at home more intense. We will pray for them and their families. Thanks for your help with this ...
